Real-Time Lighting Artist (Unreal Engine)
Cinematic lighting • Optimization • Technical workflows
I create cinematic, story-driven lighting with a focus on mood, readability, and performance. With a background in photography, compositing, and FX, I bring a holistic approach to lighting that bridges artistic intent with technical execution.
I’ve worked in collaborative production environments and have experience leading teams, which has strengthened my ability to communicate ideas clearly and adapt to evolving creative and technical constraints. I build lighting setups that are both visually compelling and optimized for real-time applications.

Some preliminary environment lighting.
Aokigahara Forest - Unreal Engine 5.5 - Early stages of a lighting shift for when the protagonist is under threat or near death. Direct inspiration was taken from the movie 'Mandy'. Obscurring vision with blurs, using heavy vignette to minimize the field of view, chromatic aberration for some distortions. One light constrained to the front of the character to maintain illumination. Post Processing volumes to alter the environment to red.
